God's Catholic Dogma

It is 100% certain you're headed for Hell  ...   for rejecting the Catholic Dogma  ...   Warning: There are no bishops or priests in these times
< < On this site ... you will discover how you are being sent into Hell forever ... your willingness to be deceived is making you eternally culpable > >

1.   The Original Sin of Adam closed Heaven for all men (sanctifying grace was lost) ... Hell became the only possible destination for the immortal souls of men.
2.   God re-opened Heaven by founding the Catholic Church and re-introducing sanctifying grace to men's souls ... the same grace which Adam and Eve had lost.

We are currently in the Great Apostasy (world-wide rejection of God's Catholic Dogma), these warnings apply:
3.   Warning 1:  A non-Catholic anti-Christ cult (the vatican-2 heretic cult) took over all Catholic properties on 8 Dec 1965 ("v-2 council" close date).        [Section 12, 13]
4.   Warning 2:  No one Ordained those that you think are Priests ... all Bishops of the "v-2 council" were automatically excommunicated on 8 Dec 1965.     [Section 13.2]
5.   Warning 3:  Your fake "priests" turned you into heretics ... the stage shows are not Mass ... participation in the vatican-2 heresy excommunicates.    [Section 13.2.2]
6.   Warning 4:  Top level view ... why there is not a single Catholic Bishop or Priest in the world. God's Catholic Church is devastatingly small in numbers. [Section 13.6]
All vatican-2-ists:  You are excommunicated from the Catholic Church.  You must Abjure your heresy.  * * Click * * >  Section 40

7.    One can still be Catholic and get to Heaven with a proper baptism in water [Section 7] ... believing the Dogmas ... and keeping free from mortal sin.    [Section 10.1]
8.    All grace, both actual and sanctifying grace, starts with God and comes into the world ... by way of the Blessed Virgin ... as Jesus Christ Himself did.  [Section 4, 4.4]
9a.  The Old Testament Israelite religion was the Catholic Faith unfulfilled ... the "judaism" fable started about 200 B.C.  Jesus Christ was not a jew.  [Section 39.1, 39.4]
9b.  The "koran" is wrong ... Mohammed was not a prophet ... "allah" does not exist.  The so called "allah god" makes countless errors in the "koran".        [Section 113]
10.  All baptized heretics are excommunicated from Christianity and headed for Hell ... with the world's pagans (those not properly baptized in water).     [Section 7.2, 8]

Council of Trent, Session 6, Chapter 4 does not teach "baptism of desire"
this is one of the favorite lies of the vatican-2 jew-heretic cult
which controls all of our formerly Catholic properties

Catholic writing of Saint John 3:5 >
"Unless one be born again of water and the Holy Spirit,
he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."

Catholic writing of 1 Saint John 5:8 >
"There are three that give testimony on earth: the Spirit, and the water,
and the Blood: and these three are one."

The vatican-2 jew-heretic cult founded in 1965 at the Vatican has nothing to do with ...
the Catholic General Council of Trent (1545-1563 A.D.) ... but this minor inconvenience
doesn't stop the vatican-2-ists from corrupting Catholic writings from the
Council of Trent to promote the "baptism of desire" heresy.

Introduction:

1.  Significant numbers of people are losing their souls because they falsely believe that the Council of Trent, Session 6, Chapter 4 ... teaches the heresy of "baptism of desire". Despite the fact that the Council of Trent has seven other Sources of Dogma which defend the Water Baptism Dogma.

2.  The problem rests with one word ... the Latin "aut" (which translates to "or") in the below extract from Session 6. The misreading (deliberate or otherwise) of Session 6, Chapter 4 has caused (or reconfirms) the automatic excommunication for heresy of a great many people.

The subject Source of Dogma ... which is being employed to promote heresy against the other Sources of Dogma on Water Baptism is ...

Council of Trent, Session 6, Chapter 4 ... A description is introduced of the Justification of the impious (adults), and of the Manner thereof under the law of grace, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Source of Dogma >
"By which words, a description of the Justification of the impious is indicated, as being a translation, from that state wherein man is born a child of the first Adam, to the state of grace, and of the adoption of the sons of God, through the second Adam, Jesus Christ, our Saviour. And this translation, since the promulgation of the Gospel, cannot be effected, without the laver of regeneration, or the desire thereof, as it is written; unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."

The Latin ... Caput 4: Insinuatur descriptio iustificatio impii, et modus eius in statu gratiae, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Source of Dogma >
"Quibus verbis justifications impii descriptio insinuatur, ut sit translatio ab eo statu, in quo homo nascitur filius primi Adć, in statum gratić, et adoptionis filiorum Dei per secundum Adam Iesum Christum, salvatorem nostrum: quć quidem translatio post evangelium promulgatum, sine lavacro regenerationis, aut ejus voto, fieri non potest; sicut scriptum est: Nisi quis renatus fuerit ex aqua et Spiritu Sancto, non potest introire in regnum Dei."

3.  The "baptism of desire" heresy claims ... that "baptism of desire" supplies the grace of sanctification without the water of baptism ... or stated another way, "baptism of desire" remits Original Sin and places the soul into the state of justification ... without the water of baptism (along with the form and proper intention of the Sacrament of Baptism).

This Section includes ...

Sub-part A:   The Latin word "aut" (which translates to "or") ... can be used (and is used by the Catholic Church) to identify a list of requirements (this and this) ... "aut" can also be used to identify a list of alternatives (this or this). Also addressed here is the Latin "sine" (which translates to "without").

Sub-part B:   Regarding the Latin ... "sicut scriptum est" ... which translates to "as it is written".

Sub-part C:   Back to Session 6, Chapter 4 ... to apply what we saw in Sub-parts A and B.

Sub-part D:   Sources of Dogma (infallible) ... from the same Council of Trent which rule out any possibility of "baptism of desire".

Sub-part E:   Further general comments on this issue ... addressing the requirement for the desire of the Sacrament of Baptism for the justification of adults ... referred to as the "impious" in Trent Session 6.

Sub-part F:   Regarding the word "voto" ... which is the word "desire" in the English.

Sub-part G:   Returning to the subject of why did the Council go through the trouble of specifying both the sacrament and the desire to receive the sacrament.

Sub-part H:   Catholic writings of the New Testament ... which defend the Water Baptism Dogma. Sub-part I:   Catholic writings of the Old Testament ... which foretell Water Baptism for remitting Original Sin. Sub-part J:   The Council of Orange (529 A.D.) ... clearly identifies that one must recieve the grace ... to want (desire) Baptism. The desire is separate from water Baptism ... the desire is not Baptism.

S u b - p a r t    A

The Latin word "aut" (which translates to "or") ... can be used (and is used by the Catholic Church) to identify
a list of requirements (this and this) ... "aut" can also be used to identify a list of alternatives
(this or this). Also addressed here is the Latin "sine" (which translates to "without")

~     ~     ~

1.  It is critical for the repentance of the souls of "baptism of desire" heretics ... that they understand that even though the Latin word "aut" ... translates as "or" ... "aut" is used in an inclusive sense as well as being used in an exclusive sense.

2.  When "aut" is used in an inclusive sense it is identifying a list of requirements (must have) ... "you need this and this".

3.  When "aut" is used in an exclusive sense ... it is identifying a list of alternatives ... "you need this or this".

4.  Writings of the Catholic Church show that the Church uses "aut" in an inclusive sense (list of requirements) ... including a Dogmatic citation from the Council of Chalcedon which is an identical case to that of Trent, Session 6, Chapter 4 (Chalcedon Dogma cited below at Latin example 1).

5.  Critical to this discussion is the Latin word "sine" which translates to English to "without". A great many lying/heretical texts translate "sine" as "except through" ... the Denzinger Sources of Catholic Dogma has this lie in it. This is nothing short of preposterous and malicious.

5a.  The true Source of Dogma is >  "The state of grace ... cannot be effected, without the laver of regeneration, or the desire thereof."  Showing us that one must have both ... water (laver) Baptism and the desire to be Baptized. The state of grace cannot be effected without water ... and cannot be effected without the desire ... there must be both. There must be the desire (with the water) because Trent Session 6 is about the justification of adults and a person past the age of reason must have the desire for Baptism placed into their soul (otherwise they would not pursue water Baptism).

5b.  The lying texts read >  "The state of grace ... cannot be effected except through the laver of regeneration, or a desire for it."  This is clearly lying in that it says ... a person needs water baptism or the desire for it ... and either one without the other can bring a person to a state of grace. A total soul damning lie.

6.  This Sub-part ... provides four examples of the Latin "aut" (which translates to "or") ... which clearly show that "aut" is used in an inclusive sense (list of things that are required). In the Catholic authored Latin Vulgate Bible there are instances of "aut" (which translates to "or") ... being used in an inclusive sense, examples below.

7.  Trent, Session 6 is addressing the justification of adults, not of infants ... because Trent uses the word "impious" seven (7) times in Session 6 and infants are not capable of being impious. The desire to be baptized is an actual grace which must placed into the soul of an adult. The infusion of actual grace (the desire) must take place since those who are in a state of naturalism would not (of course) pursue the supernatural water baptism without actual grace prompting them. This is the very reason why the word "desire" is included in the Dogma of Session 6, Chapter 4 ... the desire must also be placed into the soul.

8.  Also, for the justification of an adult, the adult must have the desire for the sacrament in their soul ... since forced "baptisms" do not bring adults to a justified state (it does not remit Original Sin).

Examples of "or" ... being used in an inclusive sense ... in English

First, before going to the Latin ... here are three simple English examples which employ the exact same sentence structure as Session 6, Chapter 4 ... using "or" in an inclusive sense preceded by the word "without".

Please note the sentence structure of Session 6, Chapter 4 above ... again, the word "without" followed by "or" which separates two requirements.

Example 1: "This note cannot be written without pen or paper."
Can you write a note without the pen or paper ? No, you need both ... "or" used in an inclusive sense.

Example 2: "This wedding cannot take place without bride or groom."
Can the wedding take place without the bride or groom ? No, you need both ... "or" used in an inclusive sense.

Example 3: "This sacrament cannot take place without matter or form or proper intention."
Can the sacrament take place without matter or form or proper intention ? No, you need all three ... "or" used in an inclusive sense.

Examples of "aut" (which translates to "or") ... being used in an inclusive sense ... in Latin
Latin, example 1:

Source of Dogma from the Council of Chalcedon, 451 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"You are, he said, the Christ, the Son of the Living God (Mt. 16:16), and not undeservedly was he pronounced blessed by the Lord and did he derive from the original Rock (i.e. God) the solid character of both (its) virtue and (its) name, (he) who through the revelation of the Father confessed that the same (i.e. Jesus) was both the Son of God and the Christ, because one of these (truths) received (i.e. admitted) without the other was unprofitable to salvation, and it was of equal danger to have believed that the Lord Jesus Christ was either God only without (being) man or man only without (being) God."

Source of Dogma from the Council of Chalcedon, 451 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma (the Latin) >

This use of ... "aut" ... here is clearly in an inclusive sense.

In that ... "aut" indicates a list of what is required ... that one must reject that Christ was God only and (inclusive requirement) one must also reject that Christ was man only.

One must reject both heresies ... that Christ was God only and that Christ was man only ... and these two heresies are separated by "or" ("aut" in the Latin).

And further ... since this citation is an infallible Source of Dogma of the Council of Chalcedon ... it means that using "aut" in an inclusive way (identifying a list of requirements) is an infallibly correct manner by which "aut" can be employed.

- - - -

This is identical to Trent, Session 6, Chapter 4 ... where "aut" has been used in an inclusive sense. You fail to enter justification unless you have both the laver of regeneration and the desire ... the two requirements are separated by "aut" prefaced with "sine" (without).

Again, Council of Trent, Session 6, Chapter 4 >
"And this translation ... cannot be effected, without the laver of regeneration, or the desire thereof."

Simply re-phrased (focusing on the words "cannot be effected, without") ...

"And this translation ... cannot be effected, without the laver of regeneration, or cannot be effected, without the desire thereof."

The Council of Trent ... did not use the words ... "either ... or".   The Council of Trent used "cannot be effected, without".

- - - -

Trent, Session 6 does not say ... "You can be justified by either water or desire" ... the text clearly states justification "cannot be effected, without" the water or without the desire ... and (like Chalcedon) uses "aut" (which translates to "or") in an inclusive sense ... since, as the Church has always taught, adults cannot be justified without the desire for the Sacrament of Baptism.

Latin, example 2:

Catholic writing of Romans 1:21 >
"Because that, when they knew God, they have not glorified him as God, or given thanks; but became vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened."

Catholic writing of Romans 1:21 (Latin) >
"Quia cum cognovissent Deum, non sicut Deum glorificaverunt, aut gratias egerunt: sed evanuerunt in cogitationibus suis, et obscuratum est insipiens cor eorum."

Does this mean that the people with darkened hearts ... did not glorify God ... but they did give Him thanks ?

This shows that the Latin word "aut" (which translates as "or") must be used in an inclusive sense (and not in the sense of a list of alternatives) ... otherwise you end up with a logical absurdity.

Or alternatively ...

Does this mean that the people with darkened hearts ... did glorify God ... but did not give Him thanks ?

Again, this shows that the Latin word "aut" (which translates as "or") must be used in an inclusive sense (this and this) ... and not in the sense of a list of alternatives ... otherwise you end up with a logical absurdity.

So the correct functional translation using the Latin word "aut" ... is that the people with darkened hearts were guilty of both negligences ... they did not glorfy God and they did not give him thanks.

Latin, example 3:

Catholic writing of Psalm 84:6 >
"Wilt thou be angry with us forever: or wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation?"

Catholic writing of Psalm 84:6 (Latin) >
"Numquid in aeternum irasceris nobis? aut extendes iram tuam a generatione in generationem."

The Latin word "aut" ... must be interpreted as "and" not "or" in this instance ... even though we see "or" in the English "translation".

It does not make sense to say ... "Wilt thou be angry with us forever: or wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation" ... when being "angry forever" means ... "from generation to generation".

One has to read this scripture ... "Wilt thou be angry with us forever: and wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation?" ... because God's anger is what brings the wrath from "generation to generation".

Again, this shows that the Latin word "aut" (which translates as "or") must be used in an inclusive sense (this and this) ... and not in the sense of a list of alternatives ... otherwise you end up with a logical absurdity.

Latin, example 4:

Catholic writing of Titus 1:6 >
"If any be without crime, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, not accused of riot, or unruly."

Catholic writing of Titus 1:6 (Latin) >
"Si quis sine crimine est, unius uxoris vir, filios habens fideles, non in accusatione luxuriae, aut non subditos."

Does the word "aut" here mean ... that the children must be either ... not riotous or not unruly?

Of course not ... they must be free from both ... not be riotous and they must not be unruly.

Here again "aut" (which translates to "or") must be seen as being used in an inclusive sense (this and this) in the Latin ... and not as proposing a list of alternatives.

Latin, example 5:

Catholic writing of John 3:8 >
"The Spirit breatheth where he will; and thou hearest his voice, but thou knowest not whence he cometh, and whither he goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."

Catholic writing of John 3:8 (Latin) >
"Spiritus ubi vult spirat, et vocem ejus audis, sed nescis unde veniat, aut quo vadat: sic est omnis qui natus est ex spiritu."

This English translation (in the only authentic Bible in English) the Douay-Rhiems Bible (DRB) actually translates "aut" to "and".

Continuing with the same analysis, anyway ...

Does the use of the Latin "aut" in this scripture mean that ... one may know where the Spirit comes from ... but he does not know where the Spirit goes ?

Or alternatively ...
Does this scripture mean that one does not know where the Spirit comes from ... but does know where the Spirit goes ?

Of course not (to both of the above cases) ... so the English translation of "aut" as "and" in this case ... reflects the true state of things ... you don’t know where the Spirit comes from and you don’t know where the Spirit goes.

This example also shows that the translating "aut" as "and" ... or translating "aut" as "or" ... communicates the exact same inclusive list.

S u b - p a r t    B

Regarding the Latin ... "sicut scriptum est" ... which translates to "as it is written"

~     ~     ~

1.  Just after the text ... "the laver of regeneration, or the desire thereof" ... we see "as it is written" (sicut scriptum est) and then the Source of Dogma goes on to say ... "unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."

2.  So this Source of Dogma ... by specifying that one cannot be justified if either the water or the desire are missing ... did not write anything that removed the water requirement since Trent Session 6 employed Saint John 3:5 ... saying that John 3:5 is to be read and understood in it's literal sense (sicut scriptum est) that no one can get to Heaven without water baptism.

3.  The "baptism of desire" heretics ... in addition to "misreading" the inclusive sense of "aut" of this decree ... somehow do not read that last part of this Source of Dogma which reaffirms the water requirement of the nineteen Water Baptism Sources of Dogma we see on Section 7.2 of this site.

S u b - p a r t    C

Back to Session 6, Chapter 4 ... to apply what we saw in Sub-parts A and B

~     ~     ~

Now that we’ve seen that the Latin word "aut" (which translates to "or") ... is used by the Catholic Church in an inclusive sense (to create a list of requirements) in it’s writings ...

>  And we know that the justification of adults cannot take place unless the adult wills it ... with his own desire, since Session 6 is about the justification of adults ...

>  And we understand the basic grammatical structure that ... "You cannot have A without B or C" ...

>  And we understand clearly that Session 6, Chapter 4 states that justification "cannot take place without both water and the desire to be baptized ...

>  And we understand that "re-writing" Session 6, Chapter 4 to read ... "you can reach justification with either water or desire" ... maliciously removes the word "without" and thus removes the inclusive sense of the word "aut" (which translates to "or") ...

>  And we see that after the text "as it is written" ... Trent Session 6, Chapter 4 confirmed that we are to believe Saint John 3:5 in it's literal sense (sicut scriptum est) that water is required for baptism.

So we see that Session 6, Chapter 4 did not contradict (as it could not) the same Council of Trent ... where seven other Sources of Dogma also rule out any possibility of "baptism of desire" - listed in Sub-part D below.

S u b - p a r t    D

Sources of Dogma (infallible) ... from the same Council of Trent which rule out any possibility of "baptism of desire"

Ex-Cathedra dogmatic decrees from the same Council of Trent re-affirming the Church's constant teaching regarding the no-exceptions
requirement for water baptism for remission of Original Sin (justification of the soul), entrance into the Catholic Church of the
Catholic God, and thus for salvation (getting to Heaven) ... also shown here are Sources of Dogma that man cannot reach the
state of justification by his own actions ... such as "desires", martyrdom, "perfect acts of charity", etc.

~     ~     ~

Council of Trent, Session 7, Canons on the Sacrament of Baptism, Canon 2, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"If anyone shall say that real and natural water is not necessary for baptism, and on that account those words of Our Lord Jesus Christ: 'Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit', are distorted into some sort of metaphor: let him be anathema."

Council of Trent, Session 5, Decree Concerning Original Sin, Paragraph 4, 1546 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"Even infants, who could not as yet commit any sin of themselves, are for this cause truly baptized for the remission of sins, that in them that may be cleansed away by regeneration, which they have contracted by generation. 'For, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God'."

Council of Trent, Session 7, Canons on the Sacrament of Baptism, Canon 5, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"If anyone says that baptism (the sacrament) is optional, that is, not necessary for salvation: let him be anathema."

Council of Trent, Session 5, Decree Concerning Original Sin, Paragraph 3, 1546 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
If any one asserts, that this sin of Adam ... is taken away either by the powers of human nature, or by any other remedy than the merit of the one mediator, our Lord Jesus Christ ... or if he denies that the said merit of Jesus Christ is applied, both to adults and to infants, by the sacrament of baptism ... let him be anathema."

Note: Removal of Orignal Sin by the "powers of human nature" is specifically denied in this decree ... such as the human nature action of "desire".

Council of Trent, Session 6, Decree on Justification, Chapter 7, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"Of this Justification the causes are these ... the meritorious cause is His most beloved only-begotten, our Lord Jesus Christ ... the instrumental cause is the sacrament of baptism ..."

~    ~

Sources of Dogma from the Council of Trent, Session 6 that men cannot get to the
state of justification by their own actions ...such as by an action of "desire" :

Council of Trent, Session 6, Canons on Justification, Canon 1, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"If any one saith, that man may be justified before God by his own works, whether done through the teaching of human nature, or that of the law, without the grace of God through Jesus Christ; let him be anathema."

Note: The interior dispostion or desire of the person -- "his own works" -- cannot bring the soul to a justified state without the grace of Jesus Christ. The sanctifying grace, through Jesus Christ, to bring one to justification has been dogmatically defined as water baptism.

Council of Trent, Session 6, Canons on Justification, Canon 9, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema."

Note: Trent stating that you must co-operate with actual grace to achieve the grace of Justification which is obtained through water baptism, see Dogma above and on Section 7.2 of this site.

Note: The instrumental cause (singular) of Justification is defined as sacramental baptism ... which rules out the human action of "desire" as a cause for justification.

S u b - p a r t    E

Further general comments on this issue ... addressing the requirement for the desire of the Sacrament of Baptism
for the justification of adults ... referred to as the "impious" in Trent Session 6.

~     ~     ~

Council of Trent, Decree on Justification, Session 6, Chapter 4, 1547 A.D. >
"Justification of the impious is indicated, as being a translation, from that state wherein man is born a child of the first Adam, to the state of grace, and of the adoption of the sons of God, through the second Adam, Jesus Christ, our Saviour. And this translation, since the promulgation of the Gospel, cannot be effected, without the laver of regeneration, or the desire thereof, as it is written; unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."

1.  The desire (actual grace) for water baptism is placed into the immortal soul of every person before they die since God is not going to throw anyone into Hell without giving them a chance to reach Heaven, and since water baptism is necessary to reach Heaven -- God, through the Blessed Virgin provides this grace. See Section 5.1 for this Dogma.

2.  No one operating on the level of naturalism can or will seek the supernatural effects of water baptism (the remission of Original Sin) ... unless the desire (actual grace (which is supernatural)) for it is infused into the soul from the outside. So justification (being made free from Original Sin by water baptism) cannot take place unless two things happen (1) the desire for baptism being placed into the soul and (2) water baptism actually taking place.

4.  Why did the Council of Trent go through the trouble of specifying both water baptism and the desire for it in Session 6 on Justification? Because they were battling heresy where people were being granted actual grace to defeat some manner of sin, and to move them toward the sanctifying grace of water baptism ... but these same people had to be informed that actual grace does not remit Original Sin, it does not bring the person to a justified state. In they were saying essence saying: "We're saved by grace, no action is required on our part." If one reads through Session 6, the Church is condemning this heresy ... one gets to Heaven by three operations (1) grace, (2) faith, and (3) works.

5.  Trent, in Session 6, addresses the need to cooperate with actual grace (the desire for baptism being placed into the soul) so that as an adult one would learn the Catholic Faith and ask for water baptism. The Council of Trent wanted to make clear the distinction between the sanctifying power of water baptism and the desire for baptism ... so that the heretics would not confuse the fact that: because they were getting actual graces to reject sin this was not sufficient for salvation. One must go futher for the santifying grace of water baptism. The heretics needed to know that these are two separate operations of grace (one actual and one sanctifying) -- and that both are required. More on this subject below.

6.  In other Sessions of the Council of Trent which have Sources of Dogma regarding Water Baptism as being required to get the Heaven (shown above) ... the Council does not discuss "desire" (actual grace) for the sacrament of baptism since this is addressed in Session 6.

On another way of corrupting Session 6, Chapter 4 ...

7.  The vatican-2 cult, in their soul damning nature, reverse the order of the words in Session 6, Chapter 4.

7a.  Notice that the Chapter 4 text states "or the desire thereof" (desire for water baptism, "the laver of regeneration") it does not say "baptism of desire". The vatican-2 cult, in their iniquity, take the following steps to corrupt this Catholic decree:

Step 1:  Reverse the order of the words ... reverse  "desire  thereof"   - to -   "of  desire".
Step 2:  On top of this they add the word "baptism" into a place in the Session 6, Chapter 4 decree where it doesn't even exist.
Step 3:  Magically ... the vatican-2 cult now has its (and Satan's) heresy of "baptism of desire" ... which they lie to the world about to send people into Hell.

7b.  A five year old child could recognize their clownish game of reversing the order of words and then adding an additional word which isn't there.

8.  Because of the manner in which the human rational soul functions -- desire must precede the action.

9.  Readers of Session 6, Chapter 4 must take conscience note of what Chapter 4 actually states ... of what justification cannot take place without (that is: what cannot be missing to reach the state of Justification). It does not say that justification may take place by either water or desire ... it is stating that neither the desire nor the water can be missing -- because we see in the second part of this citation in Chapter 4 that water baptism is specified in this Trent decree. This is a lie by omission of the vatican-2 jew-heretic cult ... that is, ignoring the second part of the citation.

10.  Based on the seven Sources of Dogma cited above from the Council of Trent and the nineteen Ex-Cathedra Dogma shown in Section 7.2 of this website -- which specifically rule out "baptism of desire" ... and that water baptism is necessary for justification and salvation -- one cannot by right reason conclude that this extract from Trent can be (mis)understood to mean that "baptism of desire" is a means of remitting Original Sin.

11.  Additional help in resolving this matter ... If you arrive at the faulty conclusion that the Council of Trent Session 6, Chapter 4 teaches "baptism of desire" and die in that state ... be 100% certain of your descent into Hell.

12.  Whoever tries to tell you that Trent Session 6, Chapter 4 teaches "baptism of desire" is working for your eternal damnation.

Regarding the word "voto" ... which is the word "desire" in the English.

~     ~     ~

Again, the Latin Text is: "Sine lavacro regenerationis aut eius voto fieri non potest."

The common English translation for Session 6, Chapter 4 uses the word "desire". In the Latin seen above the word is "voto" (a form of votum).

Votum does not refer to a simple "desire" (or "wish" or "longing") but is a much stronger word.

It derives from the Latin word for a "vow" or solemn intention and is linguistically related to the word for "will" (volo). Notice the linguistic root vo- (volo (to will), voluntas (the will, votum). So the word votum actually refers to the will.

Considering the Church's using the Latin word "voto" ... the intention is to say that the person must have an act of the will to pursue water baptism, making an interior vow or a solemn intention to pursue the Sacrament of Baptism.

What's next with the vatican-2 cult ... will they start to push "baptism of the will", "baptism of an interior vow", or "baptism of intention" ? It's all ludicrous.

S u b - p a r t    G

Returning to the subject of why did the Council go through the trouble of specifying both
the sacrament and the desire to receive the sacrament, briefly mentioned above.

~     ~     ~

The Church was working against the heresy that one could be like a lump of clay and do nothing, after receiving actual graces ... adopting the heresy that people are "saved by grace" and didn't need to take any action on their own behalf. Parts of Session 6 were treating this exact issue.

That the Council was battling this specific heresy is seen in the very next paragraph -- Session 6, Chapter 5:

Council of Trent, Decree on Justification, Session 6, Chapter 5, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"The beginning of the said Justification is to be derived from the prevenient grace of God, through Jesus Christ, that is to say, from His vocation, whereby, without any merits existing on their parts, they are called; that so they, who by sins were alienated from God, may be disposed through His quickening and assisting grace, to convert themselves to their own justification, by freely assenting to and co-operating with that said grace ..."

and

Council of Trent, Decree on Justification, Session 6, Chapter 5, 1547 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"Neither is man himself utterly without doing anything while he receives that inspiration, forasmuch as he is also able to reject it; yet is he not able, by his own free will, without the grace of God, to move himself unto justice in His sight."

- - - -

If you read Chapter 4 in the same context as Chapter 5 one comes to the logical conclusion that the Church was condemning the notion that people did not have to follow through on actual graces received and pursue sanctifying grace (which justifies the soul) in the sacrament of baptism. Condemning that they could just sit back and and think that actual grace sanctifies their immortal soul, which it doesn't. The Council did not want people falling into this heresy and thus losing their souls because of it.

The two dogmatic citations above state that "Neither is man himself utterly without doing anything ... and that he must be "freely assenting to and co-operating with that said grace" to do something -- to pursue the sanctifying grace of water baptism.

- - - -

The heresy of man being able to redeem himself by his own actions, such as the action of "desire" alone without following the required actions commanded by the Church, is condemned in the following De Fide Dogma:

Catholic De Fide Dogma, Section III, God the Redeemer, Dogma 17 >
"Fallen man cannot redeem himself."

The word "redemption" means that Heaven is re-opened for the souls of men (after Original Sin closed it), see Scriptures on the Introduction Section of this site. Men have to apply the redemption to their souls in the one way which God prescribes, the Catholic Faith. The redemption (the re-opening of Heaven) does not apply to anyone who is not baptized in water to remit Original Sin, likewise the Redemption does not apply to heretics ("lutherans", "vatican-2-ists", "baptists", "methodists", etc.).

If Original Sin could be remitted by "baptism of desire" (which it cannot) that would mean that men could redeem themselves by their own actions (their "desire") and not submit to the manner of remitting Original Sin which is specified by God ... water baptism.

Catholic writings of the New Testament ... which defend the Water Baptism Dogma

~     ~     ~

Catholic writing of Saint John 3:5-7 >
5:  "Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."
6:  "That which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit."
7:  "Wonder not, that I said to thee, you must be born again."

Catholic writing of 1 Saint John 5:8 >
"And there are three that give testimony on earth: the Spirit, and the water, and the Blood: and these three are one."

Note: The blood of Christ now gives power to the water in baptism to remit Original Sin so that the Holy Spirit can enter the soul and so that the baptized soul has the possibility of getting to Heaven if the person believes the entire Catholic Faith and has done suffiecient works of charity.

Catholic writing of Titus 3:5 >
"Not by the works of justice, which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us, by the laver of regeneration, and renovation of the Holy Spirit."

Note 1: The laver of regeneration is water baptism.

Note 2: Regarding works of justice, if one does charity while outside of the Catholic Church he does not gain merit for his soul. If at some point in the future he does enter the Church, the merit for the works he did before entering the Church will be applied to his soul.

Note 3: Regarding the phrase "He saved us" ... the word saved means that your soul is in Heaven. To be saved there are two things necessary by a necessity of means, they are water baptism and believing the entire Catholic Faith ... and according to the Faith, must also do sufficient charity to merit Heaven and as penance for sins. Please see Sections 5, 7, 9, 28, and 29.

Catholic writing of Matthew 19:28 >
"And Jesus said to them: Amen, I say to you, that you, who have followed Me, in the regeneration, when the Son of Man shall sit on the seat of His majesty, you also shall sit on twelve seats judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

Note: As cited above in Titus 3:5, regeneration is water baptism.

Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 10:47 >
"Then Peter answered: Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit, as well as we?"

Note 1: Regarding "who have received the Holy Spirit" ... this is speaking of actual graces which had been granted to these before baptism. Baptism imparts the other type of grace called sanctifying grace which places the soul into a justified state whereby one can get to Heaven. Actual grace does not get you to Heaven -- it prompts you to want to be baptized.

Note 2: Saint Peter recognized that they had recieved actual grace and called for water baptism.

Note 3: Please see Section 7, Sub-part B ... which lists the Dogma that one must believe the Catholic Faith for the Baptism to be valid.

Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 8:36, 38-39 >
36:  "See, here is water: what doth hinder me from being baptized?"
38:  "And they went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch: and he baptized him."
39:  "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord took away Philip."

Note: Water in necessary for baptism.

Catholic writing of Saint John 1:13 >
"Who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

Note 1: Regarding the text ... "not of blood" ... no "baptism of blood".

Note 2: Regarding the text ... "nor of the will of man" ... not by the act of the will which people call "baptism of desire".

Note 3: Regarding the text ... "but of God" ... born unto justification by the sanctifying grace by water baptism.

Catholic writing of Saint John 4:10, 14 >
10:  "Jesus answered, and said to her: If thou didst know the gift of God, and who He is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou perhaps wouldst have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water."
14:  "But the water that I will give him, shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into life everlasting."

Note 1: Jesus telling the woman at the well about the future spiritual reality of water baptism to remit Original Sin (the water by which one may live (get to Heaven), and not die the second death (Hell).

Note 2: In Saint John 4:10 it states that one has to "ask of Him" for the living water (water baptism) so that one does not die the second death (Hell) in the un-baptized state. This is another scripture that rules out the "baptism of desire" heresy / hoax.

Catholic writing of Saint Matthew 3:15-16 >
15:  "And Jesus answering, said to him: Suffer it to be so now. For so it becometh us to fulfill all justice."
16:  "And Jesus being baptized, forthwith came out of the water: and lo, the Heavens were opened to Him: and He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon Him."

Note 1: Regarding the descending of the Holy Spirit ... after water baptism, the Holy Spirit can now be with the human soul who was in the state of Original Sin (Jesus and the Blessed Virgin did not have Original Sin).

Note 2: Water is necessary for baptism to fulfill all justice.

Catholic writing of Saint Mark 1:9-10 >
9:  "And it came to pass, in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan."
10:  "And forthwith coming up out of the water, He saw the Heavens opened, and the Spirit as a dove descending, and remaining on Him."

Note 1: Regarding the descending of the Holy Spirit ... after water baptism, the Holy Spirit can now be with the human soul who was in the state of Original Sin (Jesus and the Blessed Virgin did not have Original Sin).

Note 2: Water in necessary for baptism.

Catholic writing of Saint John 19:34 >
"But one of the soldiers with a spear opened His side, and immediately there came out blood and water."

Note: The Blood of Christ for the redemption (re-opening Heaven for men) and the water of baptism are inseparable.

Catholic writings of the Old Testament ... which foretell Water Baptism for remitting Original Sin

~     ~     ~

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Numbers 19:20 >
"If any man be not expiated after this rite, his soul shall perish out of the midst of the Church: because he hath profaned the sanctuary of the Lord, and was not sprinkled with the water of purification."

Note: Old Testament pre-figuring of water baptism ... "water of purification" cannot possibly be interpreted to mean the cleaning off of dirt.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Numbers 19:13 >
"Because he was not sprinkled with the water of expiation, he shall be unclean, and his uncleanness shall remain upon him."

Note: Old Testament pre-figuring of water baptism ... "water of expiation" cannot possibly be interpreted to mean the cleaning off of dirt.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Psalm 50:4 >
"Wash me yet more from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin."

Note: Catholic King Saint David ... foretelling water baptism for the remission of Original Sin.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Ezechiel 36:25-27 >
25: "And I will pour upon you clean water, and you shall be cleansed from all your filthiness, and I will cleanse you from all your idols."
26:  "And I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you."
27:  "And I will put My Spirit in the midst of you: and I will cause you to walk in My commandments, and to keep My judgments, and do them."

Note 1: Foreshadowing of water baptism in that only baptism brings you into the family of God so that you are "cleansed from all your idols".

Note 2: Whatever is not Catholic is idol worship. All of the heretic groups ("vatican-2-ists", "lutherans", "baptists", "evangelicals", etc.) are in idol worship of non-Catholic "gods". All of the groups of un-baptized pagans ("jews", "mohammadens", "buddhists", "hindus", etc.) are in idol worship of non-Catholic "gods".

Note 3: All baptisms are baptisms into the Catholic Church. If an infant is baptized inside of a "lutheran" heretic meeting hall, that person is in the Catholic Church until he reaches the age of reason (7 years). After he reaches the age of reason he is automatically excommunicated from the Catholic Church for physical participation in a heretical society. There is no such thing as baptism of an adult into a heresy. If a fifteen year old undergoes, what looks externally like baptism, in a "baptist", "evangelical", etc. meeting hall into one of these heresies he is in fact not baptized ... Original Sin remains on his soul. Supposed "baptisms" done in the vatican-2 cult meeting halls (with the Catholic signs out front) ... should be re-done in a conditional re-baptism (see Section 7 for direction).

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Psalm 50:7, 9 >
7:  "For behold I was conceived in iniquities; and in sins did my mother conceive me."
9:  "Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow."

Note 1: Verse 7 > Catholic King Saint David ... stating that we are conceived in sin.

Note 2: Verse 9 > Catholic King Saint David ... foretelling water baptism for the remission of Original Sin.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Ecclesiasticus 15:17 >
"He hath set water and fire before thee: stretch forth thy hand to which thou wilt."

Note: The Catholic God setting before men ... the waters of Baptism or the fires of Hell.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Numbers 20:1, 6 >
1:  "And the children of Israel, and all the multitude came into the desert of Sin, in the first month ..."
6:  "And Moses and Aaron leaving the multitude, went into the tabernacle of the covenant, and fell flat upon the ground, and cried to the Lord, and said: O Lord God, hear the cry of this people, and open to them Thy treasure, a fountain of living water ..."

Note 1: In Numbers 20:1 God describes the Israelites as being in the "desert of Sin", which all of them were in ... since Original Sin is transmitted generationally.

Note 2: In Numbers 20:6 Moses and Aaron pray to God for water for the people for their physical thirst in the desert ... but they prayed for "living water", a foreshadowing of the waters of baptism for the remission (taking off of the soul) of Original Sin. The future "treasure" (foreshadowed here) regarding waters of baptism is the treasure from Heaven of sanctifying grace to remit Original Sin.

Note 3: The only source of water for Moses and the Israelites (they weren't jews) was the rock which Moses struck, which represented Christ. The only source of "living water", the water which provides sanctification of souls by remitting Original Sin, through baptism is Christ because the Blood of Christ cannot be separated from the waters of sanctification.    Catholic writing of 1 Saint John 5:8 > "And there are three that give testimony on earth: the Spirit, and the water, and the Blood: and these three are one."

Note 4: Note again that their physical location is identified as the "desert of Sin" and it is in the "first month" ... identifying the spiritual reality that it is in the first month of life (in fact at the very moment of conception) that the human soul is afflicted with Original Sin (except for the souls of Jesus and Maria of course).

Note 5: The human soul is in the same shape as the body since it is the soul that animates the body. Original Sin is like a poison that permeates the tissues of the body this is the reason that Original Sin is transmitted generationally.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Exodus, Chapter 14 (14:22) and Chapter 15 (15:2) >
14:22:  "And the children of Israel went in through the midst of the sea dried up: for the water was as a wall on their right hand and on their left."
15:2:  "The Lord is my strength and my praise, and He is become salvation to me."

Note 1:  Old Testament pre-figuring of water baptism. If the Israelites (they were not jews) did not go through the waters of the Red Sea (representing the future waters of baptism) they would not have just walked away they would have met their death by the hand of the Egyptians. There was no being saved from the Egyptians except by going through the waters. So it is with the waters of baptism, without undergoing water baptism you do not just walk away, you die the second death which is the descent into Hell. In the same narrative continuing in Exodus 15:2 going through the waters (baptism) is described as "God becoming salvation" (the no exceptions necessity of water baptism as a requirement to get to Heaven).

Note 2: Those who died in a justified state during the Old Testament, before the requirement for water baptism took effect at the First Pentecost, descended into the section of Hell called the Limbo of the Just (this section of Hell no longer exists). The Limbo of the Just was a section of Hell different from the Hell of the damned (which still exists and will exist forever). When Heaven was re-opened by Christ, the souls of the people of the Old Testament who died in a justified state (Saint Joseph, Saint John the Baptist, Saint Anne, Saint Joachim, King Saint David, the Holy Innocents, Elias, Moses, the good thief, etc.) were able to now go to Heaven. None of these people were jews, they were Israelites who are now in that part of the Catholic Church which is in Heaven.

Note 3: God has not revealed to the Catholic Church as to how the souls of the Old Testament justified were baptized while in the Limbo of the Just to remit Original Sin. When Christ descended into the Limbo of the Just section of Hell on Good Friday He must have instituted some manner by which the Old Testament justified underwent water baptism because it is impossible for a soul to enter Heaven in the state of Original Sin and these souls are in fact in Heaven.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Genesis 6:9, 6:11-12, 7:1 >
6:9:  "Noe was a just and perfect man in his generations, he walked with God."
6:11-12:  "And the earth was corrupted before God ... for all flesh had corrupted its way upon the earth"
7:1:  "And the Lord said to him: Go in thou and all thy house into the ark: for thee I have seen just before me in this generation."

Note: We are all physical descendants of Adam and Eve and we are all physical descendants of Noe and his wife. The only difference between these two physical lineages is the water of the flood which separated the just from the unjust in that God only saw Noe as just.

This is a clear pre-figuring of water baptism which separates the just (Original Sin remitted by water baptism) from the unjust (those who retain Original Sin on their souls because of their unbaptized state). The physical separation of the just and the unjust in the time of Noe foretells the spiritual reality of the effects of water baptism after the First Pentecost.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Exodus 2:10 >
"And she adopted him for a son, and called him Moses, saying: Because I took him out of the water."

Note: Old Testament pre-figuring of water baptism ... there is no adoption as a son (into the family of God) ... unless one comes out of the water (of baptism).

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of 4 Kings 5:8, 10, 12-14 (on the supernatural cleansing of Naaman) >
8:  "And when Eliseus the man of God had heard this ... let him come to me, and let him know that there is a prophet in Israel."
10:  "And Eliseus sent a messenger to him, saying: Go, and wash seven times in the Jordan, and thy flesh shall recover health, and thee shalt be clean."
12:  "Naaman the Syrian: "Are not the Abana, and the Pharphar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel, that I may wash in them, and be made clean?"
13:  "Naaman's servents: "If the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, surely thou shouldst have done it."
14:  "Then he went down, and washed in the Jordan seven times: according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored, like the flesh of a little child, and he was made clean."

Note 1:  Old Testament pre-figuring of water baptism in that the waters of the Abana etc. had their natural effect, but the waters of the Jordan (where Saint John the Baptist baptized as a harbinger of the baptism of Christ which remits Original Sin) waters used for baptism) by the instruction of Eliseus (the man of God) had a supernatural effect, cleaning Namaan of leprosy.

Note 2: Do not bring anyone to a vatican-2 group leader (who is dressed up like a Catholic priest) for water baptism, he most certainly will baptize with a false intention thereby invalidating the baptism. Perform the baptisms yourself in accordance with the instructions on the top of Section 7 of this website.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of 2 Kings 23:15 >
"And David longed, and said: O that some man would get me a drink of the water out of the cistern, that is in Bethlehem, by the gate."

Note: The Incarnation and Passion of Christ give the power of justification to water in the Sacrament of Baptism. Pre-figured here ... Jesus was born in Bethlehem and the Catholic Church calls water baptism the gate by which one enters the Church (which has no buildings in these times).

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of 2 Kings 23:16 >
"And the three valiant men broke through the camp of the Philistines, and drew water out of the cistern of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and brought it to David: but he would not drink, but offered it to the Lord."

Note: Same note as above pre-figuring water baptism, but in Verse 16 David shows that water will be used for more than just drinking ... it will be offered to the Lord in its future use in the Sacrament of Baptism.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Jeremias 2:13 >
"For my people have done two evils. They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water ..."

Note 1: Living water, the water of baptism which if you do not have you die the second death (descend into Hell in the state of Original Sin).

Note 2: Foreshadowing of the scripture ...

Catholic writing of John 4:10 >
"Jesus answered, and said to her: If thou didst know the gift of God, and who He is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou perhaps wouldst have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water."

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Isaias 12:3-4 >
3:  "You shall draw waters with joy out of the Saviour's fountains."
4:  "And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord."

Note: Foretelling the future waters of baptism from the Saviour's fountains for the remission of Original Sin.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Genesis 26:19 >
"And they digged in the torrent, and found living water."

Note: Foreshadowing of the living water (the water by which the souls of men live) of baptism. Without the living waters of baptism souls die the second death (after the first physical death) and descend into Hell in the state of Original Sin.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Leviticus 14:52 >
"And shall purify it as well with the blood of the sparrow, as with the living water ..."

Note 1: Another foreshadowing of the living waters of baptism for the remission of Original Sin. The context here in Leviticus 14 is for the cleansing from leprosy. Anyone, after the First Pentecost of the Catholic Church in 33 A.D., who was / is not baptized has leprosy of the soul because the Orginal Sin of Adam is on the soul.

Note 2: Anyone who has been baptized but has fallen into heresy or who is participating in a heretical society also has a leprosy of the soul for heresy which is a sin against the First Commandment.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Leviticus 15:13 >
"If he who suffereth this disease be healed, he shall number seven days after his cleansing, and having washed his clothes, and all his body in living water, he shall be clean."

Note: Further scripture foreshadowing of the living waters of baptism for the remission of Original Sin ... so that the baptized soul has some possibility of getting to Heaven since baptism places into the soul sanctifying grace thereby bringing the soul to a state of justification.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of 2 Esdras 9:15 >
"And Thou gavest them bread from Heaven in their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock in their thirst, and Thou saidst to them that they should go in, and possess the land, upon which Thou hadst lifted up Thy hand to give it them."

Note: Old Testament pre-figuring of water baptism in that Christ is the rock and they could not pass through the desert (the world) and get to Heaven (possess the land) without taking the water from the rock (water baptism) ... Christ, through the Blessed Virgin, provides sanctifying grace as the only means to justify and sanctify souls which are in the state of Original Sin.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Ezechiel 19:10 >
"Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood planted by the water: her fruit and her branches have grown out of many waters."

Note 1: Old Testament pre-figuring of water baptism ... "thy mother" (the Catholic Church) is "like a vine" (throughout the world) and "her branches have grown out of many waters" (water baptism throughout the world growing the Catholic Church).

Note 2: The Catholic Church of the Catholic God ... has no physical properties or personnel hierarchy in these times ... see Section 13.6.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Wisdom 19:7 >
"For a cloud overshadowed their camp, and where water was before, dry land appeared, and in the Red Sea a way without hinderance, and out of the great deep a springing field."

Note 1: If one did not go through the waters of the Red Sea (pre-figuring the waters of baptism) he would have been killed by the Egyptians, he would not have just walked away alive.

Note 2: The Latin "mari Rubro via sine inpedimento" was translated as "Red Sea a way without hinderance" but the word "via" simply means "way" not "a way" -- but it is clear that this was the only way presented to the Israelites (they were not "jews").

Note 3: "Out of the great deep" ... out of the depths of sin.

S u b - p a r t    J

The Council of Orange (529 A.D.) ... clearly identifies that one must recieve the grace ... to want (desire) Baptism.
The desire is separate from water Baptism ... the desire is not Baptism

~     ~     ~

Council of Orange, Canon 5, 529 A.D. >
"If anyone says that not only the increase of faith but also its beginning and the very desire for faith, by which we believe in Him who justifies the ungodly and comes to the regeneration of holy baptism -- if anyone says that this belongs to us by nature and not by a gift of grace, that is, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit amending our will and turning it from unbelief to faith and from godlessness to godliness, it is proof that he is opposed to the teaching of the Apostles, for blessed Paul says, "And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6). And again, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). For those who state that the faith by which we believe in God is natural make all who are separated from the Church of Christ by definition in some measure believers."

Note 1: One last point:

Don't the heresies of "baptism of desire" and "baptism of blood" always go together ... like "Satan and evil" and "fire and Hell"?

Where is the ever present "baptism of blood" heresy in the above corrupting of Trent, Session 6, Chapter 4 by the vatican-2-ists ... surely the vatican-2 heretics could have pulled "baptism of blood" out of this Catholic decree somehow ... probably just an oversight by the vatican-2-ists.

Truth of the super-natural order:
All grace starts with God, goes to the hands of the Blessed Virgin, and then into the world. God (Grace Himself) came into the world
by the Blessed Virgin, God never changes, all grace follows the same path to this day and until the end of the world.
