Introduction:
1. When Original Sin happened Heaven was closed for the souls of men, leaving Hell as the only possible destination for our souls -- because sanctifying grace was removed from the souls of Adam and Eve. Also lost with Orignal Sin was bodily immortality (death came into the world) and integrity. Instead of generationally passing on the justified state, the children of Adam have the iniquity of Original Sin passed onto them generationally.
2. The Catholic God has commanded that Original Sin is remitted in the one way He prescribes (Water Baptism) ... Job is alluding to this in the above Catholic writing. The infallible Dogma addressing water baptism is on Section 7.2 of this site.
3. The effects of Original Sin make God both Creator and Saviour ... not just Creator.

Catholic writing of Saint John 3:5 >
Note 1: Being born again means water baptism, period.
Note 2: One must be re-generated in the supernatural order by remitting Original Sin with water baptism. Catholic writing of 1 Saint John 5:8 > "And there are three that give testimony on earth: the Spirit, and the water, and the Blood: and these three are one."
Note: The blood of Christ now gives power to the water in baptism to remit Original Sin so that the Holy Spirit can enter the soul and so that the baptized soul has the possibility of getting to Heaven if the person believes the entire Catholic Faith and has done suffiecient works of charity.
Catholic writing of Titus 3:5 > "Not by the works of justice, which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us, by the laver of regeneration, and renovation of the Holy Spirit."
Note 1: The laver of regeneration is water baptism.
Note 2: Regarding works of justice, if one does charity while outside of the Catholic Church he does not gain merit for his soul. If at some point in the future he does enter the Church, the merit for the works he did before entering the Church will be applied to his soul.
Note 3: Regarding the phrase "He saved us" ... the word saved means that your soul is in Heaven. To be saved there are two things necessary by a necessity of means, they are water baptism and believing the entire Catholic Faith ... and according to the Faith, must also do sufficient charity to merit Heaven and as penance for sins. Please see Sections 5, 7, 9, 28, and 29. Catholic writing of Matthew 19:28 > "And Jesus said to them: Amen, I say to you, that you, who have followed Me, in the regeneration, when the Son of Man shall sit on the seat of His majesty, you also shall sit on twelve seats judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
Note: As cited above in Titus 3:5, regeneration is water baptism.
Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 10:47 > "Then Peter answered: Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit, as well as we?"
Note 1: Regarding "who have received the Holy Spirit" ... this is speaking of actual graces ... whereby the person desires water Baptism. Baptism imparts the other type of grace called sanctifying grace which places the soul into a justified state whereby one can get to Heaven. Actual grace does not get you to Heaven -- it prompts you to want to be baptized.
Note 2: Saint Peter recognized that they had recieved actual grace and called for water baptism. Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 8:36, 38-39 > 36: "See, here is water: what doth hinder me from being baptized?" 38: "And they went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch: and he baptized him." 39: "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord took away Philip."
Note: Water is necessary for baptism.
Catholic writing of Saint John 4:5-6, 10, 14 > 5-6: "He (Jesus) cometh therefore to a city of Samaria, which is called Sichar ... Now Jacob's well was there." 10: "Jesus answered, and said to her: If thou didst know the gift of God, and who He is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou perhaps wouldst have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water." 14: "But the water that I will give him, shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into life everlasting."
Note: The following Genesis 28:14 ... of the Catholic God speaking to Jacob ... is a prophesy of John 4:10, 14.
Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Genesis 28:14 >
Note 1: Jesus telling the woman at the well about the future spiritual reality of water baptism to remit Original Sin (the water by which one may live (get to Heaven), and not die the second death (Hell).
Note 2: In Saint John 4:10 it states that one has to "ask of Him" for the living water (water Baptism) so that one does not die the second death (Hell) in the un-baptized state. This is another scripture that rules out the "baptism of desire" heresy / hoax.
Note 3: One must believe the Catholic Dogmas whole and inviolate at the moment of Baptism for the Baptism to be valid. Full Baptism instruction on Section 7. Catholic writing of Saint Matthew 3:15-16 > 15: "And Jesus answering, said to him: Suffer it to be so now. Note: The water of life ... is Water Baptism.

Note Regarding the text ... "now saveth you also" ... one must believe the entire Catholic Faith, and do sufficient works of charity, in addition to having water baptism in order to have a chance of getting to Heaven. One must believe the Catholic SOurces of Dogma at the moment of Baptism for the Baptism to be valid ... the Catholic God cannot honor "baptism" into a heretic cult ("evangelical", "presbyterian", "lutheran","baptist", "methodist", etc.).
Catholic writing of Romans 6:3-4 > 3: "Know you not that all we, who are baptized in Christ Jesus, are baptized in his death?" 4: "For we are buried together with Him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life." Catholic writing of Ephesians 4:5 > "One Lord, one faith, one baptism." Note 1: In Verse 12 we see > Men are born ... "of God" ... this is by the remitting of Original Sin in water baptism, as follows ...
Council of Florence, Session 8 > "Holy baptism holds the first place among all the sacraments, for it is the gate of the spiritual life."
Note 2: In Verse 13 we see > Men are not born of ... "the will of man" ... no "baptism of desire" (desire is the will of man). Catholic writing of Colossians 2:12 > "Buried with Him in baptism, in Whom also you are risen again by the faith of the operation of God, Who hath raised Him up from the dead." Catholic writing of Saint Mark 16:16 > "He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned."
Note: We are saved by three things together, (1) Faith, (2) Grace, and (3) Works. Please see Sections 28 and 29 of this website regarding the requirement of works of charity to get to Heaven.

Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 2:41 > "They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls."
Note 1: There is no "being added" to the Church without water baptism.
Note 2: This scripture also refutes the heresy of "baptism of desire" (again) because "baptism of desire" people cannot be physically counted. Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 9:18 > "And immediately there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and rising up, he was baptized."

Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 16:14-15 > 14: "And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one that worshipped God, did hear: whose heart the Lord opened to attend to those things which were said by Paul." 15: "And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying: If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there."
Note: This is another example of someone (Lydia) receiving actual grace (which does not get you to Heaven) and cooperating with that grace to pursue the sanctifying grace given via water baptism (which places your soul in a state where you can get to Heaven).
Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 16:33 > "And he, taking them the same hour of the night, washed their stripes, and himself was baptized, and all his house immediately." Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 18:8 > "And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing, believed, and were baptized." Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 19:5 > "Having heard these things, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."

Catholic writing of Acts of the Apostles 22:16 > "And now why tarriest thou? Rise up, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, invoking His name." Catholic writing of 1 Corinthians 12:13 > "For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Judeans or Gentiles, whether bond or free."
Note: The Judeans who continued in God's covenant with the Israelites (they were not "jews") were baptized and Original Sin was removed from their souls. The people who were baptized are the true Israelites (some of whom were Judeans). Those who rejected God's covenant with the Israelites and who remained in the state of Original Sin can be called "jews" since the Church needs an identifier for this particular group of un-baptized pagans.
Catholic writing of Galatians 3:27, 29 > 27: "For as many of you as have been baptized in Christ, have put on Christ." 29: "And if you be Christ's, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise."
Note: The true Israelites were baptized in that they believed and had faith in the Old Testament covenant writings such as:
- Daniel 9:26 > "Christ shall be slain: and the people that shall deny Him shall not be His."
- Etc. -- These are pretty easy to figure out ...
Showing that the religion of the Old Testament Israelites was the Catholic Faith unfulfilled (it wasn't "judaism" - which is a pagan cult started about 200 B.C. - see Section 39.1). Catholic writing of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 > 9: "Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God?
