Introduction:

1.  The Sources of Dogma and citations on this section show that those ignorant of the Catholic Dogma cannot be saved .... and shows that the "material heresy" versus "formal heresy" distinction is a non-Catholic fraud.

2.  Some of the below citations address the fact that the ignorant (unknowing) person is culpable for his crime of ignorance.

3.  Some of the below citations address the fact that the unknowing (ignorant) person is not in a justified state (headed for Hell), since he is automatically outside of the Catholic Church for his crime of not knowing.

4. The false non-Catholic notion of "material heresy" is the identifying of someone as an innocent "material heretic" (and not simply a heretic headed for Hell) based on the notion that he is simply in error from "ignorance" and so cannot be identified as a "formal heretic" (another fraudulant term). The devil's objective here is to make people think that "material heretics" are in a justified state and might be able to get to Heaven, because after all they are not "formal heretics".

5. The false teaching continues by saying that ... it is only after the "material heretic" (or person in "material heresy") is informed that he is in error on the Catholic Faith -- and if he rejects the admonition and correction -- it is only then that he falls into "formal heresy" ... and only now is he culpable, blameworthy and subject to perdition (loss of his soul to Hell) ... which of course is all a pack of lies.

"And so Our Predecessor, Benedict XIV, had just cause to write: 'We declare that a great number of those who are condemned to eternal punishment suffer that everlasting calamity because of ignorance of those mysteries of faith which must be known and believed in order to be numbered among the elect.' (...) These truths, indeed, far surpass the natural understanding of the people, yet must be known by all - the uneducated and the cultured - in order that they may arrive at eternal happiness."

Note: Those who are falsely called "material heretics" do not know the faith "which must be known" to be numbered among the elect. Falsely calling them "material heretics" and thus trying to remove their culpability for "not knowing" contributes to their eternal damnation. It goes without saying that those who employ the "material heretic" fiction to effect the loss of other souls are also losing their souls, unless they repent.

Catholic Faith (pre-fulfillment) writing of Ecclesiasticus 24:44, 46, 47 >
44:  "For I make doctrine to shine forth to all as the morning light, and I will declare it afar off."
46:  "I will yet pour out doctrine as prophecy, and will leave it to them that seek wisdom, and will not cease to instruct their offspring even to the holy age."
47:  "See ye that I have not laboured for myself only, but for all that seek out the truth."

Note 1: Verse 44 states that God makes doctrine available to all (as the morning light) so that one cannot say that people can be "material heretics" or be in "material heresy" ... as if it is not their own fault.

Note 2: Immediately following in verses 46 and 47, the Catholic God states that we have the responsibility to seek out the truth (which shines forth as the morning light) ... the Catholic Dogma and Sources of Dogma. This shows again that the labels "material heretic" and "materisl heresy" are a complete farce ... in that people are responsible for seeking out the truth and are culpable if they do not.


Pope Benedict XIV, Cum Religiosi (On Catechesis), Paragraph 4, 26 June 1754 >
"See to it that every minister performs carefully the measures laid down by the holy Council of Trent and by the statutes of your synods: that on fixed days school-masters and mistresses should teach Christian doctrine; that confessors should perform this part of their duty whenever anyone stands at their tribunal who does not know what he must by necessity of means know to be saved."

Note 1: The phrase "necessity of means" is the Catholic term for designating that which is mandatory to be able to get to Heaven.

Note 2: Benedict XIV is addressing the activity of teaching Christian doctrine and that it must be known as a necessity of means to be saved (get to Heaven).

Note 3: Keeping the entire Catholic Faith is believing the Dogma listed in Section 3 and believing all of the citations of the Church which are Sources of Dogma.

Note 4: Besides knowing, believing, and living by the Catholic Dogma the other necessity of means to gain salvation (get to Heaven) is water baptism since no one can get to Heaven with Original Sin on their soul and water baptism is the only way to remit this sin.


Pope Benedict XIV, Cum Religiosi (On Catechesis), Paragraph 1, 26 June 1754 >
It was very often found that these people were ignorant of the mysteries of the Faith, even of those matters which must be known by necessity of means; consequently, they were ineligible to partake of the Sacraments.

Note 1: Benedict XIV states that knowing the Faith is a necessity of means (needed to get to Heaven) also in paragraph 4 of Cum Religiosi as seen above.

Note 2: Note also that persons were not eligible for the Sacraments while in a state of ignorance.

Note 3: Mass and sacramental confession is not available in these times ... the Vatican-2 meeting halls sacrifice to the "Vatican-2 god" (i.e. demons) and the "independents" the "SSPX", "SSPV", "CMRI", etc. also sacrifice to demons since they are non-Catholic entities in violation of the Jurisdiction and Governance Dogma listed in Section 87.

"Three things are necessary for the salvation of man: to know what he ought to believe; to know what he ought to desire; and to know what he ought to do."

"So, the Savior goes on with His appointed task, although many perish. For, their destruction is not His aim, but is the consequence of their own ignorance."

Note The unbaptized pagans who call themselves jews ... when challenged on some matter ... are fond of saying "do you read Hebrew"? But, we see here that ... "there is no languages where their voices are not heard". So God does not withhold the truth from people on the basis of their language.

Note: Knowing the way of the Lord is knowing the Catholic Dogma. Pope Pelagius I states that those who are falsely called "material heretics" are headed for Hell.


Saint Augustine, Epistle to Sixtus, JUR vol.III: 1454 >
"Those who keep their eyes shut cannot see. God made you without your knowledge, but He does not justify you without your willing it. Refusal to hear the truth leads to sin, and that sin itself is punishment for the preceding sin. Every sinner is inexcusable whether he knows it or not. For ignorance itself, in those who do not want to know, is without doubt a sin; and, in those unable to know, is the penalty of sin. In neither case, then, is there a just excuse, but in both cases there is a just condemnation."

Note: Those who are falsely called "material heretics" are identified as culpable by Saint Augustine. Since they are culpable, those who falsely call these people "material heretics" (to eliminate their culpability) are thereby sinning themselves - and not talking like the Saints who have been confirmed by the Church as being in Heaven.


Catholic writing of Romans 1:28-29, 31-32 >
"And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense ... being filled with all iniquity ... without fidelity, without mercy ... are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them."

Note: Those who falsely call people "material heretics" and thus try to eliminate their culpability, consent to the fallen state of those who are falsely called "material heretics" (those without fidelity) are also worthy of death for this consenting (for calling them "material heretics").


Saint Thomas Aquinas, Doctor of the Church, died 1274 A.D. >
"Since the sanctification of man is in the power of God who sanctifies, it is not in the competency of man to choose the things by which he is to be sanctified, but this must be determined by Divine institution."

Note: The Divine institution, the necessity of means by which men are sanctified is twofold ... water baptism and believe all of the Catholic Dogma (the necessity of works of Charity are part of the Catholic Dogma and Ordinary Magisterium doctrine). One must attend Mass and Sacramental Confession when they are available (which they are not in these times).

"The law of the Lord is unspotted, converting souls."

Note: The law of the Lord is the Catholic Dogma, one is converted by believing it and being baptized in water. Someone who is falsely called a "material heretic" is not converted because he does not know the law.

"The faith shall never vary in any age, for one is the faith which justifies the Just of all ages."

Note: Those people who are falsely called "material heretics" - are not in a justified state because they do not hold the faith.


Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum, Paragraph 9, 29 June 1896  >
"The practice of the Church has always been the same, as is shown by the unanimous teaching of the Fathers, who were wont to hold as outside Catholic communion, and alien to the Church, whoever would recede in the least degree from any point of doctrine proposed by her authoritative Magisterium."

"Every possible care must be taken to hold fast to that faith which has been believed everywhere, always, and by everyone. (...) The source of the "material heresy" deception

The term "material heresy" is not mentioned even a single time in any Catholic Council writings and it is nowhere in the Denzinger, Sources of Catholic Dogma (see search results below). This lie against the Faith (that "material heretics" are not actually heretics) began to get wide circulation after this term appeared in heretical "Catholic encyclopedias" in the early 1900's -- such as "The Law of the Church", 1906, published by Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co., page 357 -- Subtitle: "A Cyclopaedia of Canon Law for English-Speaking Countries". Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co. were clearly jew-heretic publishers.

The underlying deception related to this "material heresy" novelty is the lie that those in the "state" of "material heresy" might not be headed for Hell ... when in fact they are.

There are heretical "Catholic encyclopedias" issued during the Papacy of Pius X which mention "material heresy" ... these volumes cannot be used to go against the Catholic Dogma that one who dies "ignorant" of the Catholic Dogma will descend into Hell. Playing the "material heretic" game for a moment ... even though the fraudulent term "material heresy" shows up in these texts, nowhere in these texts does it say that someone who dies in a state of "material heresy" can get to Heaven (they can't). There are a substantial number of liars in these times who are saying and implying ... that someone who dies as only a "material heretic" can get to Heaven, again this is false.

Setting aside for a moment (for the sake of further illustrating this error) that the concept of "material heresy" is nowhere in the Catholic teaching of the Councils nor in any of the 2333 Articles of the Denzinger, Sources of Catholic Dogma and considering the fact that this soul damning novelty appears in heretical "Catholic encyclopedias" during the reign of Pope Pius X ...

... from what we have found, Pius X gave only one direction related to canon law -- on 19 Mar 1904 he created a congregation to codify canon law which was not standardized between regions of the world. Pius X died in 1914 and the "code" which was published was the heretical "1917 code" under anti-Pope "Benedict XV" (see Section 20). The "Law of the Church" of 1906 does not even look to be directed by Pius X - still more proof that the "material heresy" fraud was not from Pius X. Pius X himself cites that you cannot get to Heaven in the "state" of "material heresy" as seen in Acerbo Nimis:

There are 2333 (two thousand, three hundred, and thirty three) numbered articles in the Denzinger which documents writings and teachings of Catholic Councils, Popes, and Saints. We placed the entire Denzinger into a single MS-word file which ran to 408 pages and proceeded to do searches on this subject in the following manner with the following results:

- The non-Catholic "canon law" of 1917 promulgated by automatically excommunicated heretic "Benedict XV"

- The heretical volumes called "Catholic encyclopedias"
- Quotes by Saints that go against the Dogma listed below - such quotes, by definition, are not part of the Magisterium since they oppose the Dogma
