1.   The Original Sin of Adam closed Heaven for all men (sanctifying grace was lost) ... Hell became the only possible destination for the immortal souls of men.
2.   God re-opened Heaven by founding the Catholic Church and re-introducing sanctifying grace to men's souls ... the same grace which Adam and Eve had lost.

7.    One can still be Catholic and get to Heaven with a proper baptism in water [Section 7] ... believing the Dogmas ... and keeping free from mortal sin.    [Section 10.1]

9a.  The Old Testament Israelite religion was the Catholic Faith unfulfilled ... the "judaism" fable started about 200 B.C.  Jesus Christ was not a jew.  [Section 39.1, 39.4]
9b.  The "koran" is wrong ... Mohammed was not a prophet ... "allah" does not exist.  The so called "allah god" makes countless errors in the "koran".        [Section 113]
10.  All baptized heretics are excommunicated from Christianity and headed for Hell ... with the world's pagans (those not properly baptized in water).     [Section 7.2, 8]

The Catholic Dogma on Papal elections prove that ... re-establishing
the Papacy and Catholic priesthood is not possible

Note: Re-instituting the Catholic Papacy and priesthood is not possible ... since during Divine
public revelation (ended in 99 A.D.) ... it states that Christ will return to the world only
for the judgement at the end of the world , not to re-establish the Priesthood.

Introduction:

1.  On 8 December 1965 ... the close date of the "vatican-2 council" ... there was not a single Bishop who rejected the overwhelming heresy that was in the sixteen "council" documents. This caused them all to be automatically excommunicated from the Catholic Church and immediate loss of their Offices as Bishops. The Catholic Sources of Dogma on automatic excommunication for heresy and participation in heresy are on Sections 13.2 and 13.2.2 of this site.

2.  Loss of Catholic Jurisdiction across the world started in 1914 when anti-Pope "Benedict XV" usurped the Papacy, proof on Section 20.

3.  The Saint Matthew 16:18 - "Gates of Hell" scripture has nothing to do with the Office of the Papacy ... Matthew 16:18 is about heresy not causing the Catholic Dogma to disappear from the world. See Section 13.3 of this site, which lists four (4) Sources of Dogma definitions that Matthew 16:18 is not about the Papacy.

4.  In earlier times of the Church ... the clergy and Bishops local to Rome along with the citizens of Rome elected the Bishop of Rome and thus the Pope.

5.  Starting with the Second Council of Lyons in 1274 and then in subsequent Councils ... the Holy Spirit had the Church define in Sources of Dogma that the Pope must be elected by the Cardinals of the Church (called the College of Cardinals).

6.  There are no Catholic Cardinals at this time ... so that the single defined manner by which men can fill the Papacy doesn't exist, Dogma listed below.

7.  In times like these when the Papacy is vacant ... one subscribes to the Papacy by believing the Sources of Dogma promulgated by the Pope in union with the bishops of the world.


Second Council of Lyons, Part II, Constitution 2, Paragraph 7, 1274 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"We implore the Cardinals through the tender mercy of our God, and we call them to witness through the sprinkling of His precious blood, that they consider very carefully what they are about to do. They are electing the Vicar of Jesus Christ, the successor of Peter, the ruler of the universal Church, the guide of the Lord's flock."

Council of Florence, Session 23, 26 March 1436 -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"During this time let the Cardinals reflect and seriously ponder how much merit or loss to themselves, how much fruit or damage to the Christian people, how much good or evil, they will be causing by their choice of a Pontiff. There is nothing, indeed, by which they can more merit the grace or the wrath of our Lord Jesus Christ than when they are setting his Vicar over His sheep, which He loved so much as to suffer the torments of the cross and to die for them."

"As soon as the death of the Pope becomes known ... there is to be humble and devoted prayer to the Lord, that He ... may so unite the hearts of the Cardinals in their choice that provision may be made for the Church ... and happy outcome of the conclave."

"We decree that if the Pope dies in a city where he was residing with his curia, the Cardinals present in that city are obliged to await the absent Cardinals, but for ten days only. (...) No one may have access to the Cardinals or permission to talk secretly with them, nor are they themselves to admit anyone to their presence, except those who, by consent of all the Cardinals present, might be summoned only for the business of the imminent election."

"If one of the Cardinals does not enter the conclave, which we have described above, or having entered leaves without evident cause of illness, the others, without in any way searching for him and without re-admitting him to the election, may proceed freely to elect the next Pope."

Second Council of Lyons, Part II, Constitution 2, Paragraph 3, 1274 A.D. -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"If, which God forbid, within three days after the Cardinals have entered the said conclave, the Church has not been provided with a shepherd (...) The Cardinals are to devote their time so carefully to hastening the election as to occupy themselves with no other business whatever unless perhaps there occurs such an urgent necessity as the defense of the states of the Church or some part of them."

Council of Constance, Session 40, 30 October 1417 -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"This same holy synod gives power to all these people, insofar as it is necessary, to elect the Roman Pontiff according to the form here laid down. That is to say, the person is to be regarded as the Roman Pontiff by the universal Church without exception who is elected and admitted by two-thirds of the Cardinals present at the conclave and by two-thirds of those from each nation who are to be and have been added to the Cardinals."

Regarding the text ... "who are to be and have been added to the Cardinals" ... the Council of Constance resolved the Great Western schism. At this Council a one time exception was made of adding six electors from nations that were present:


Council of Constance, Session 40, 30 October 1417 -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"Therefore this most holy general synod of Constance, mindful of the common good and with the special and express consent and the united wish of the Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church present at the same synod, and of the College of Cardinals and of all the nations at this present council, declares, ordains and decrees that, for this time only, at the election of the Roman and Supreme Pontiff, there shall be added to the Cardinals six prelates or other honourable churchmen in holy orders, from each of the nations currently present and named at the same synod."

Fifth Lateran Council, Session 5, 16 February 1513 -- Ex-Cathedra Dogma >
"We establish, ordain, decree and define, by Apostolic authority and the fullness of our power, that if it happens ... the election of the Roman Pontiff is made or effected by the person who is elected, or by one or several members of the College of Cardinals, giving their votes in a manner that in any way involves simony being committed ... even if the election resulted in a majority of two-thirds or in the unanimous choice of all the Cardinals ... the one elected is not regarded by anyone as the Roman Pontiff."
